Final proofs!

I received the final proofs last night for HBCE Proverbs! I have 4 days to turn them around and get them back...

That means it should be published in the next month or so.

    Hi James - I'm just reading through this volume, and noticed "BAJP" referred to at the end of the second "paragraph" on p. xiii, but it doesn't seem to be used anywhere else (according to Google Books preview, and Amazon's "Look Inside" search), nor does it show up in the abbreviations list.

    Is it an odd mut(il)ation of "BAP" = Bible d'Alexandrie: Les Proverbes, perhaps? or something else?

    Not sure! I missed that one. I searched the entire volume and couldn't find another occurrence either. I've asked Michael Fox if he remembers. I'll let you know.

    You were correct, it is a typo for BAP.

    Thanks for checking on that! Mystery solved.

    Too bad there isn't a Donald Knuth style reward scheme :) although I'm fairly confident you wouldn't be making many payments!
