The reading public?

I read a scary statistic yesterday that doesn't bode well for booksellers—over half of Americans read less than one book per year. Can you imagine that?

So, the next time you finish a book, remember that you are a statistic breaker—unless it took you over a year to do it :)

I don't even know how many books I read in a year, but it is a lot more than one! I suspect it is in the neighborhood of 25-50. If I still read fiction, it would be a lot higher.

If we're talking non-fiction then it regularly takes me more than a year. I've been reading many of the 24 books that I'm currently reading for more than a year!
