Regime change!

The term “regime change” emerged from an unsavory political context, but as an approximation of what the righteousness of God is able to do, we can capture it for the service of the apocalyptic drama. The old regime, in which the Powers of Sin and Death rule over the human race, will be definitively vanquished and “the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay” (Rom. 8:21).
