Within the HB itself, a second model is identifiable; I would label it as conditional acceptance. Important parts of the HB imply a belief system that can be classified as monolatry, mono-Yahwism, or inclusive monotheism. “Monolatry” means recognizing the existence and value of other gods but discouraging their veneration by the members of the community.
