It's the Trinity!

Understanding the cross and resurrection as a single event, undertaken from within the Trinity itself, is of utmost importance and will continue to inform the discussion throughout. The scandalous “word of the cross” is not a human word. It is the Spirit—empowered presence of God in the preaching of the crucified One.
