No, not because it is December 21st, but because today on the way to work I saw the true sign of winter--an icefisherman (person?). I'm not sure if the picture is good enough to make out, but there he is, standing on the ice with pole in hand.

That guy is crazy! Who stands on ice and fishes???? Its COLD!!!!

Ah ice fishing! Now you are talking! I love to move heated huts out onto the ice, put a gas stove and heater in the hut and take a few cold drinks (coke and dr. pepper) with me and fish all day. That is life!
