Forfeit your sense of awe, let your conceit diminish your ability to revere, and the universe becomes a market place for you. The loss of awe is the avoidance of insight. Yep. Why do we treat the world as a marketplace? Because we've lost that sense of awe. Nature is something to conquer and exploit, no longer something to look at with a sense of awe as the psalmists did.
