Wise living is temple building

Thus, we can conclude that the house-building motif goes through the whole book of Proverbs hand in hand with allusions to the tabernacle/temple. The interpretation towards which all these point is that the whole universe is Wisdom’s house (byt ḥokmah)and this house is at the same time God’s temple (byt YHWH). Human beings can join Wisdom in her house (i.e., the Lord in his temple) by being wise in the world.
